Pokemon Alpha Sapphire - My Shinies

Okay, well... *cough cough* I'm sure if you keep up with my art, the last thing I posted was my Shiny Swablu Hunt pic... Well, I was unsuccessful with that. And also with hatching one. HOWEVER, I went on NeoSeeker to see if I could trade my second Victini for a shiny Swablu, and I got super lucky and met a really nice guy there. He had a shiny Swablu he caught in his copy of X, and because of that I was able to nickname him Sanji. And then he also gave me a freebie, a shiny Ponyta female that I got to name Guinevere. Had it been male, I would of named him Sleipnir. XD

Not long after that, I was talking with my friend, Xiaa, who noticed that my entire team is weak to Fairies. So, I had to pick a Pokemon that was strong against 'em, and I ended up thinking "a poison type would be nice," because I rarely ever get those... And while looking up my choices on Bulbapedia, I noticed how pretty shiny Gulpins are. So, I was about to make another post on NeoSeeker to see if I could get any bites, but before I posted it I made a flippant comment to the same guy whom got me Sanji--and we made a deal that I'd give him my shiny Dugtrio for any shiny Gulpin he can catch. Took two days, and he got me a level 5 Gulpin female, who I named Lord Pilaf.

Thanks to him, I got two of my dream shinies in Alpha Sapphire that I get to play with in the main story, and I'm sooo excited~! And yes, I did post a short omake showcasing Sanji's badassary, before posting up this one, but... I just had to throw it out there. XD Wasn't sure if I'd get the time to color and post this one as soon as I did. I'm still really tired after work. Urgh.

If you're also curious what other Pokemon I got in my team... Well, no other shinies. My starter was Treecko, nicknamed Basil, and I got a Breloom named 1-Up. She's a BAMF. I also hunted for a specific Sableye with a nature I really wanted, then bred it to acquire a move... and his name is Amethyst. Had it been a girl, she'd of been Spinel. I also caught a Sharpedo in my copy of Y, bred her for an egg that I traded to a friend who traded it to my character in Alpha Sapphire, and now I got a Carvanha earlier in the game who I named Nabiki. And currently, I just got an egg to hatch in that one sauna town, and all my Pokemon have evolved EXCEPT Nabiki. She'll be a lovely Sharpedo one day. XD
